The Castroville Public Library began operation in 1963, and was the first public library in Medina County.
Credit for making a dream become a reality goes to the local Home Demonstration Club.
Activities for Kids include Story Time on Wednesdays and Tuesday Movies. The library offers a variety of resources and activities for adults including a rotation of beginner computer classes, resume and cover letter help, and reference services.
